Malls have mushroomed in towns and cities all over the nation. In Mumbai itself there are malls from the north to the south.

There are almost 20 to 30 malls in the suburbs. Malls are mainly for shopping. There are many shops like top branded clothing and shoe shops, electronic shops, educational, grocery stores and home decor. People love to go to these shops especially when there is a sale. But this is not the only thing. There are even multiplexes where people can watch movies. In some malls there are even spas and gyms. There is some entertainment for kids too. There are game zones where the children can enjoy themselves. People can park their cars in the basement, people, after shopping, feel very hungry. So they go to the food court where they get all types of food. If you just take a round in the mall you will find people asking to fill forms of lucky draws. Today in society, malls have become the hub of activity. Malls are decorated based on festivals. On the ground floor there are many activities and competitions held, children even celebrate their birthday parties in the food court by joining the tables and playing in the gaming zone. These malls are usually open till midnight but they have a late start.

I know one mall whose name is Raghuleela Mall. In that mall there is a restaurant that has a village theme. You can even do pottery in that restaurant. Malls are here to stay. Everything is under one roof. An evening out with a family becomes an evening in a mall.
