Rainbow

When the rain and the sun

Come together, it is fun.

To see a bright, colourful rainbow

Right up in the sky, drifting low.

Violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red

So bright I can see it from my bed.

A lot of happiness spreads among everyone

Spreading kindness, joy and fun worth a ton.

The rainbow’s colours are so bright

It spreads a lot of joyful light.

From the brightly coloured rainbow

My favourite is the happy yellow.

People may spot it more or less

But I should confess,

It is truly lovely to spy

A colourful rainbow in the sky.
